DESCRIPTION:FREE AND INFORMATIVE DRUG EDUCATION EVENT\nFresh Start Ministry of First Methodist Church Wetumpka is sponsoring a community-wide drug education event on Thursday, February 15 at 6 pm in the Family Life Center.\nDid you know that you or your child can legally purchase drugs that could potentially kill them at the local convenience store for as little as $10.99?\nStatewide in Alabama in 2021 there were 1,400 drug overdose deaths. In 2023 in just the 3 counties of Elmore, Montgomery and Autauga counties there were 1,251 drug overdose deaths(statistics from Alabama State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System).\nIf you are interested in learning more about the runaway drug problem in our city, state, and country, you are invited to attend this FREE educational community-wide event.
