Ministry Safe Training • April 2024

Do you currently volunteer with and invest in our church family’s kids and/or youth or plan to help spread God’s light and love by using your time and talents at VBS this year?! Save one of the dates below in March or April for a Ministry Safe Training event in the Family Life Center! 

 This informative and insightful training is required under Ministry Safe for everyone who volunteers with kids and youth at First Methodist Church Wetumpka (or plans/wants to) in any capacity so we can continue to lovingly and responsibly care for them to the best of our ability. 

Training Dates:

• Thursday, March 7th at 6pm (dinner provided)
• Sunday, April 21st at 11am (lunch and nursery provided)

 If you cannot attend either of these dates, and/or would like to go ahead and complete the training videos on your own, please talk to or send an email to Ashley (ashley@wetumpkafirst.com) or Jamie (jamie@wetumpkafirst.com) to set that up.

*Note that though this training is similar to the Safe Sanctuaries training we have done in the past, the new Ministry Safe training is a requirement to work with, or continue working with, kids and youth.
