FREE AND INFORMATIVE DRUG EDUCATION EVENT

Fresh Start Ministry of First Methodist Church Wetumpka is sponsoring a community-wide drug education event on Thursday, February 15 at 6 pm in the Family Life Center.

Did you know that you or your child can legally purchase drugs that could potentially kill them at the local convenience store for as little as $10.99?

Statewide in Alabama in 2021 there were 1,400 drug overdose deaths. In 2023 in just the 3 counties of Elmore, Montgomery and Autauga counties there were 1,251 drug overdose deaths(statistics from Alabama State Unintentional Drug Overdose Reporting System).
